Automation-Ready Door Assembly
Developed to support automation tasks through reliable, programmable motion. Designed to integrate cleanly with CNC equipment and broader machine systems.

As part of a larger automation initiative, we developed a CNC-integrated door assembly designed to mount seamlessly to vertical machining centers. This system—built to customer specifications—provides reliable, programmable access control and is designed to open and close automatically during machining operations. Built for durability and clean integration, it reflects the kind of turnkey, automation-ready subassembly we build for OEMs and industrial partners.
The assembly features a servo-driven mechanism enclosed in a custom-fabricated housing, complete with electrical and electromechanical components. Each unit is shipped as a pre-assembled kit, including interface-ready control wiring, safety interlocks, and all mounting hardware. The design is intended to simplify installation and ensure repeatable performance in production environments.
Project Details
- CNC-compatible door assembly with automatic open/close functionality
- Servo-driven motion system with integrated control wiring
- Pre-wired cabinet with electromechanical and electronic components
- Supports programmable actuation as part of machine cycle
- Mounts to vertical machining center side panel
- Built to customer specifications for footprint, operation, and controls
- Designed for clean integration with part loaders, enclosures, or safety systems

In the application shown above, the door operates automatically as part of the CNC machine's cycle—opening at defined points to support downstream processes. While this installation supports a part-loading mechanism, the same approach is adaptable to a range of automation tasks, including part changeover, safety enclosures, or in-process handling.
This project demonstrates our capability to deliver complete, build-to-spec assemblies that combine motion control, electronics, and mechanical components into a cohesive, production-ready unit. It's one example of how we help customers bring automation into their systems efficiently and effectively.
